Lightbulb Computer Viruses
Am a US based web designer... I would like to learn more about web design/graphic design Services and anything related.... Here i am sharing with you, some of the web-related details.

Computer viruses are classified by their targets, the items they infect. These are:

Macro Viruses: In many word processing and spread sheet applications, you can record a macro that stores a series of actions. Later you can run the macro and automatically repeat the same actions. Macro viruses infect data files with macro capabilities. For example, MS Word document and template files and MS Excel spreadsheets are susceptible to macro virus attacks.

Program Viruses: These viruses infect executable files, such as word processing, spreadsheet, computer game or opening system programs.

Boot Viruses: Some viruses can “infect” disk by attaching themselves to special Web Design Services programmers in the areas of your disks called boot records and master boot records. These areas contain the programs your computer used to start up.

If you are an expert in this web design fields... and like to share the work details, please get me back soon.... Thank You

RE: Computer Viruses
Well really, almost anything is susceptible to a macro if it's done right. Not that there is a "right" way, but no developer will be able to make a completely safe program.

RE: Computer Viruses
I haven't seen any macro viruses, i think sometimes they exploited them with excel but that was a while ago.

RE: Computer Viruses
You can get a virus with Java. As long as user has a reason to press the "trusted" button on your crap.

You could get some nasty browser viruses from IE via activex

Once for shits i wrote something in java that would write in the hosts file. I'm sure people could to alot worse stuff.

RE: Computer Viruses
Yea, java can be bad, don't do the "trust" thing if you don't know the site, unless you absolutely have to.
