Obviously here in the US there are longer distances, and hence, more costs and slower speeds.

Indeed distances make the difference. Take australia for example , they have the worst connections and thats obviously because the continent is so vast and people are few.
Did you guys know 30 mbps connections are free in japan ? I would seriously consider living there one day , not only because of their connections but because Im a fan of their culture.

THat is pretty cool info. Stockholm is another place where internet is supposedly cheap. I think it would be awesome if they start upgrading most internets to such high speeds. I guess time will tell.

I hope that a wireless "dial-up" version of the internet will be worldwide soon for free. One day satellites will broadcast the signal worldwide... I hope... Laugh

This is my first hear about 160 MBps for around 60$/mont. I just wanna ask if they are needing so many requirements in order get to apply with this?

Hopefully some new company will come in and upgrade the US's internet!
