Mod Designing - Torchlight

Anyways, I'm pretty certain the mods are made in C++ and it might be cool to try and make some. The game supports mods actually so it's nice.
I'll lookup later if it's C++ or not.

If anyones wondering torchlight is a game VERY similar to diablo 2, only better. Ex-D2 developers made the game so everything is almost identical minus maps ect.

Oh really? Diablo 2 is one of my favorite games ever! Level 93 hammerdin, #1 paladin in east coast at PvP... well... a long time ago.

I don't think the mods are in c++. I guess they have a game editor but more advanced mods MIGHT be in c++ without the editor.

I suggest you get this game then. Because it's the exact same with different items, graphics, maps, and story. Everything else is the SAME. HUD layout, skills, strength, dex, ect. The only thing about this game is the graphics are somewhat cartoony. And also because of the mods for the game you can change a lot. For example I hate identifying items so I changed it that every item is identified. Also you can create your own weapons with the editory, change the max level you can reach, create your own quests, maps, dungeons, it's crazy. Only problems is there is no multiplayer. But they're turning into an MMO sometime next year.
