iPhone 4 vs EVO 4G: Total Cost of Ownership
Billshrink put up some interesting facts about the iPhone 4 and the new EVO 4G. Personally I always prefer android, but what do you think?

RE: iPhone 4 vs EVO 4G: Total Cost of Ownership
I think that as far as touch screens go, Apple wins. And the touch screen is a big deal to me. Android on the iPhone would be nice, but I don't imagine having a Android based phone would be any cheaper. I feel like people are going to want to update their phone hardware (get new phones), to match the new software that will be being released on the Android at what I'm sure will be at an insane pace. Your Android-based phone will be out of date before you know it.

Well I don't quite understand. There's nothing wrong with the touchscreen of the android HTC stuff. I've used it extensively, and I can type similarly as with the iphone. Sure on occasion I'll hit the key next to it accidentally, but that's not that often. I'm certain people hit the wrong keys on the iphone too when typing.

I have the droid on verizon and absolutely love it. I have to have a physical keyboard so I won't get an iphone, although it does have the best auto-complete and spell check I've ever used. I run multiple apps all the time on my droid and it's awesome, plus my service is always better than AT&T customers. I do wish the market place (app store) was better. It gets annoying when you need to update apps, because it's about 4 "clicks" per app, and there's no update all button. I find that quite annoying and a reason as to why I don't update apps, or I'll even uninstall them.

I agree marketplace app store needs a lot of work.

I have the MyTouch HTC from T-Mobile. It works everywhere perfectly. I don't have any problems. I don't like physical keyboards, because i dont text that much anyway. Soon those touch screens will become so perfected that you won't need those slide-physical-keyboards.

RE: iPhone 4 vs EVO 4G: Total Cost of Ownership
The only problem I have with apple is they release new products and software updates that the origional should have had in the first place.

And seriously, the new (excuse me, I cannot remember the name Blink) motion sensor thin is absolutely POINTLESS. Who the frak would wanna spin in circles to play a game?!? Enhance gameplay my ass.

For iPhone, the price of two additional phones, and $20 should be tacked on for software updates. Seeing as in 6 months this iPhone will be outdate, and in another 6 it, again, will be outdated.

@ Brian: These touch screens are as perfect as their going to get. Their only flaw is they're crammed into small screens.

If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
