I've been introduced to this program called WinCUPL, I believe it is free. It allows you to use boolean algebra equations and set pins for a certain chip and code it using the Wincupl language (I'm not sure if it relates somewhat to verilog or VHDL, but it seems similar).
So instead of using logicworks and drawing the whole circuit, you simply write the equation and simulate the results! It's pretty awesome.
Ever try it?
